new condition started once a month or twice a month just sitting on the back of my boat on a rack covered . The best designed engine from the best outboard engine maker ever. A perfect running Honda 4stroke 2 hp outboard motor. easy start every time! It does not have one scratch anywhere on it and has been serviced according to Honda‘s guidelines with probably even more care than recommended. Since it is air cold, it would be the perfect ocean dinghy motor as the impellers and internals of outboard motors corrode with saltwater. (Air-cooled completely eliminated that major design flaw of the past )This one never gets any salt water or fresh H2O in it. And the shaft has never even touched salt water I was going to put it on my $5600 Achilles dinghy but traded it to one of my best friends who bought a new hard dinghy that he hated & He gave me a $550 generator just for watching his boat for a week. I couldn’t live with that so 800 is a steal for this engine. Nothing would hint that this thing is not brand new except for my honesty it is used just doesn’t look like it .
