Listed for sale here is the Panasonic Lumix S5 mirrorless camera with Lumix S 20-60mm F/3.5-5.6 kit lens, and optionally the Lumix S 24-105mm F/4.0 lens. The camera kit (DC-S5KK) was purchased in August of 2022 and has mostly been used in studio for video, with a few occasional outdoor uses (never in rain). It has mostly been used for video, so the shutter count is pretty low. As can be seen in the photos, the camera is in near mint condition. Tempered glass screen protector was applied immediately after unboxing, along with the smallrig cage. UV filters have been applied on the lenses immediately after unboxing. All of the glass is in prestine condition. I'm someone who takes care of my gear. Of course, please have realistic expectations as the camera has been used for 2 years and there's some dust (even though I blow dust off frequently), and very minimal signs of wear. I've taken close-up macro photos of all the common wear locations of the camera so you can see and judge for yourself.
For technical specifications, all the information is available online so please do your own research. Checkout the reviews on YouTube and read as much as you can before you decide. The only thing I will say is that the auto-focus system is the only real weakness of this camera. That said, I think the complaints about the auto-focus is a bit overblown. I'm a video self-shooter, so I depend on the auto-focus all the time and have been able to manage to get it to work for me about 95% of the time. It helps a lot to shoot at 60FPS. There are some conditions where it really struggles, like low contrast scenes. As long as you know when it will struggle, you can switch to manual focus, increase the depth of field, and work around it. No auto-focus system is perfect, but if you just spend a little time to learn how to work with this camera, the auto-focus isn't as bad as the internet seems to suggest.
I love this camera and it has served me very well for my projects. The image quality is absolutely incredible. It has been super reliable and never gave me any problems. I have used and love many of the features on this camera, like the 4k live cropping, high resolution mode (shoots 100MP photos), and so many more. The only reason I'm selling it is because I recently upgraded to the S5 IIx, and I decided to upgrade because I loved the original S5 so much.
