Starting a band at 42 is crazy, right? Been playing since I was 13. Mostly a punk/punk rock/screamo kind of guy but I write some softer stuff and some hardcore/post punk type stuff also. Did some recording and tons of shows n stuff 20 years ago but nothing recent. Why? Alcohol. Drugs. Kids. Life. You know, the big been there done that. Lol. So, why start a band now? Because a lot of things holding me back have let up. Time to grow again. And, also because, in the words of Zach Brown, "Cause I believe that I Was born with a song inside of me Never question why I just kept on chasing that melody And as time goes by
It's funny how time will make you realize
We're running out of it"
I'll can do back up vox maybe, and either bass or guitar. I mostly play guitar tho. I don't have any music links or band pages to share. But like I said, mostly punky stuff. I'd consider myself an out of practice intermediate guitar player, but I'm getting better again. I struggle with solos but can write leads alright, but really, I'm a rythm player. Looking for 2-4 others who want to do something. If you can't play, but want to play bass, I'll help you. Can you sing but are bad at lyrics? I'm ok writing lyrics. I'll help. I can tinker in almost any genre, but I really feel like yelling for this project. A lot. As much as my voice will allow. but I don't have to. I want to record, play live anywhere that will take us and practice and write often. I wanna hear our songs on the radio or Spotify if the universe permits. But, I also don't want rock star type dreams. Small label, big love type of vibes. Maybe Hopeless? Anyway, I'm not gonna say no drugs, but if it doesn't grow in the ground, I'd rather not be anywhere near it. I don't care about your politics, sex, age or any of that. I'll help you write songs knocking my own beliefs. Cause free speech is important. And sometimes funny. 😂

Alright, probably said some stuff you didn't need to hear and left out some stuff you did want to know. If this sounds like fun, hit me up. As far as a practice space, probably the drummers house or a studio if need be. I won't be able to host for about a year.
I own my own business, work from home and have tons of availability.
energy required, experience isn't.
