dogs are OK - wooof

So, I've received some very interesting responses, and while I'm flattered, if like to clarify a few things: Yes, I'm able to pay rent, I'm not looking for a FWB type situation or a room in exchange for sexual favors, I would prefer to stay in North County (though it's not mandatory), my dog gets along with my birds, it shouldn't matter what I look like if your heart is in the right place, I have steady income, I'm negotiable on what I can pay (so please let me know what your expectations are as far as rent goes when replying), and please let me know where you are located. Also please keep in mind that my dog is an indoor dog. She isn't used to being outside for long periods of time. If left outside away from me, she will bark. Thank you again.

Hi, I'm in a bit of a tough spot. I'm a female currently looking for a place to live. That normally wouldn't be a problem, however I have a dog and 3 birds. My dog is an American Staffordshire terrier/shepherd mix who gets along well with other dogs, but she's an indoor dog. Due to her breed, I've experienced a lot of discrimination while looking for places to live, though she's never displayed any aggression toward people or other dogs. She's automatically black- listed, which definitely complicates things. In regards to my bird, I have 2 turquoise green cheek conures (mini parrots) and an exotic parakeet (about the size of a pigeon). They're not large by any means, but like most birds, they tend to make noise in the morning and at sundown. I realize this makes finding a place to rent very difficult, however I'm not quite ready to part with them at this time. I made a commitment to them when I took them home/ adopted them, and I'd like to honor that commitment. I'd like to try to find a place to live before boarding them or anything else. So if there are any animal lovers out there that are willing to open up their homes and hearts, please let me know. I know this is a very long shot, but I figured I would at least post an ad here and see if anything comes up. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and I look forward to any responses I may get. Here's to 2019 and may everyone here have the best of luck in their searches!
