Highly modified and refurbished 1963 Heilite trailer for sale. We have owned it for about 12 years and in that time have reinforced and lengthened the frame to add the platform in front for the tongue box, lifted it and put Timbren independent suspension with brakes on it. Tent canvas was new about 10 years ago. Closed it is 5 ft wide by 12 ft long total. The box is 7l x5w. When open it is 12 ft wide with two full size (6'4" x 4') beds with 4" foam mattresses inside and 4 ft of floor space between them, where you can put a table to hang out when it rains. Very comfortable to sleep in. We have towed it on trails all over the Sierras. Weighs about 1500 lb loaded, so the weight of a off-road box trailer but way more comfortable. Includes deep cycle battery and 200 watts of solar panels, has 12 volt plugs for a camping refrigerator and we 12v outlets for led lights, included. The front platform also is made to carry two 7 gallon water jugs. We have loved this trailer because it has let us easily get away from the crowds and camp comfortably in places we otherwise would have to hike to or tent in. Having the tent on top of the trailer keeps it out of the mud etc. Setting up the tent takes about 10 minutes. I can give a link to a video showing that if requested.
