The house has more than 3500 sq. ft. of space and is located on a one acre lot in the country. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and our home has plenty of off-street parking. You will have your own parking spot in front of the garage. We are across the street from a 6-acre horse ranch, and there is a lot of wildlife including miscellaneous songbirds, quail, hummingbirds, hawks, rabbits, squirrels, owls, peacocks, roadrunners and of course coyotes. Plus, we are only about a mile away from Brengle Terrace Park.
The bathroom is adjacent to the room for rent. The house has three bathrooms. My wife and I are very active environmentally concerned people, and we are pretty quiet.
The home is about 2 miles (10 minutes) from downtown Vista, roughly 9 miles (20 minutes) from Cal State San Marcos, 6 miles from Palomar College (15 minutes), 7 miles (15 minutes) from Miracosta College and around 10 miles (20 minutes) from the beach.
Shared kitchen, laundry, huge furnished living room and very large sunroom with ping-pong table and some gym equipment. You will have your own full-size refrigerator! We are looking for a single person, clean, quiet, full-time student, professional or retired person. Must be vegan or vegetarian. LGBTQ are welcome!
Rent is due on the first of the month. The rent is $1100 per month plus a refundable $600 security deposit. Utilities are an additional $100 a month for (including electricity, water, trash and high speed internet). We provide items like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies.
Credit and background check, income verification and references are required as part of the application process.
No pets. No drugs. No smoking. No cooking meat in the house, putting it in the fridge or preparing it in the kitchen. (I love animals, and this is not negotiable.) This also means no fish.
