I will be looking to rent a 2 bedroom apartment and rent out the other room to save money. I currently live in Oceanside renting a studio on my own but I would like to save some money. I know about one apartment complex that a friend is renting at a 2 bedroom in Vista in a nicer area for about $2300. I'm not sure if it's even possible to find something that cheap anymore maybe it went up but I would definitely like to pay around $1200 or less and you would pay the same. 42 year old male, I don't drink or smoke and I don't have pets. I'm quiet and like to keep to myself. I don't have a huge group of friends anymore that I hangout with, I mainly just keep in touch with friends through social media nowadays and I won't be bringing people over all the time and I would like the same type of respect. I would like someone who also doesn't drink or smoke or have pets. Be clean and responsible, renter references, paystubs proof of income, must work full-time, No couples, no partying. Email me a brief message and a cellphone to text you at. This is not a scam. We will have to meet and start looking for apartments if we decide we would be a good fit for a roommate situation, must commit to at least 6 months or 1 year and possibly be on the lease we will discuss this. We will split everything up by half if for some reason one room is bigger than the other than the person who takes it will pay more. So yeah you won't be paying $700, $800 or $1000 a month for rent we'll need to find a place that's reasonable and not ghetto and we split everything evenly right down the middle and go from there. If you have been sober for at least 1 year or longer you would be a better fit. I might have someone that has a lesser time of sobriety as long as you are serious about paying your rent and not relapsing while living with me. Trust me it's happened to me before with roommates and it was a nightmare I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. You can prove to me you are working a good program if I can meet your sponsor and they can put in a good word for you. Also money talks if you can pay a few months ahead then maybe me could work something out. I go to AA meetings often I'm looking for someone that lives this better sober/ clean life to be a roommate. I'm in a construction union and I do not smoke weed, vape or smoke cigarettes or anything at all. I quit my social smoking over 10 years ago. I might let vaping slide if it's not thc and you aren't all crazy about it smoking out the entire apartment. There might be a balcony or smoking area I might consider it but I would definitely pick a non smoker, non drinker over someone that smokes or vapes. If you have a room for rent yourself and contact me about it let me know the details because I'm not very interested in renting from someone else I'd rather be responsible for my own place and live on my own terms, rules and guidelines I do not want to live with a bunch of random people that I don't know that's why I'm posting this here so I can find someone that I think would be a good option as a roommate. I have some time left before I would move so please contact me even if you would be willing to move in the beginning of next year or the end of this year. I could actually move at anytime since I'm on a month to month agreement so please keep in touch.
