Cadillac Authorized Service sign, 11.75 inches in diameter and weighs one pound, 3.2 ounces. This is not one of the cheap, stamped tin signs. It's two-sided, back side is solid white enamel, front is multicolored enamel or possibly porcelain--not sure. I've only seen one other similar to this one and it was listed as vintage. This was photographed against a dark background, so the outermost part of the sign is a roughly 3/16" wide white rim/border. It does not appear to be a recent reproduction. There are drilled/punched holes at top, bottom, left and right that have what appear to be brass grommets pressed into the holes. There are some superficial scratches on the front. There is one firing defect on the back that appears as a dark spot just above the right grommet in the second photo. It is not a scratch as the enamel is kind of misshaped surround it. It's clearly an original production blemish.
