This oldie but goodie has been in the family for years and is currently registered with the California DMV on Non Op status. There are no back fees or penalties due. It was a daily driver until December, 2018, when we think the fuel pump went out. It has been sitting ever since. Can't get it into gear now. It will need a paint job and restoration, but it is all there. Original engine and transmission intact. Body has blemishes but is basically straight. We have too many cars in the driveway. Someone else will love this classic Volvo now.
You will need to tow the Volvo to your home. Cash only. Because it is not currently running, this vehicle is being sold as "Parts Only" and "As-Is." This is the cheapest Volvo 240 on Craigslist in Southern CA. Running Volvo 240 sedans are now selling for thousands.
Come get this car, tow it home, and restore it, if you have the skills. Do not ask if this car is pristine. It is not. It is 33 years old and $350. This vehicle is going to require restoration. It has been sitting, and you need to show up with a tow truck and helpers to bring it to your home. You won't be able to drive it home, and you won't be able to work on it in our yard.
