My brother recently died unexpectedly, way too young. His dog is this female mutt that he raised from a puppy. I don't know exactly what she is. But she looks part Pitt Bull, part Boston Terrier.
He has no history on her. He got her for free as a puppy from a man giving her away in front of a grocery store in the middle of nowhere one afternoon. He said that he had no idea that she would get this big.
She weighs about 80 pounds. I think that she is about 5 to 6 years old. She is healthy. She has shots. She is spayed. She is chipped. She is potty trained. She is very strong.
She is a sweet dog. But she doesn't get along with other dogs. She is afraid of them. Or goes after them. She needs a home where she is the only dog, which is what she was used to living with my brother. She can be very stubborn, and very loyal.
My brother mostly kept her indoors with him. So she is more of an indoor dog.
We do not have room in our home for a dog this size. Plus we already have a small dog.
She is currently being fostered outside of San Jose, California. But her time there is running out. I am getting desperate. My brother loved his dog. I would hate to also lose his dog after losing my brother too.
I am willing to drive her to her new home within reason. There is no charge for taking her. She has a lot of equipment that comes with her (harness, leash, bed, etc,).
