About Me
Hi there! I currently work part-time as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapist for children with autism and spend the rest of my time running a consulting business from home—with my calm 20-lb poodle mix as my constant companion. Because I’ve always had a deep love for animals, I also offer dog walking and pet sitting on an as-needed basis. My rates are very reasonable, and I’m always open to discussing pricing—I never want cost to be a barrier to great care. Many of the same principles I use in ABA therapy with children apply beautifully to dogs. I approach each animal with patience, structure, and positive reinforcement, helping to support calm and confident behavior. My condo is spacious with an enclosed patio, and we’re just a short walk from the dog-friendly Batiquitos Lagoon trail—perfect for fresh air and fun outings. Caring for animals is truly second nature to me. My father trained horses and dogs for Hollywood, and he taught me from a young age how to listen to and understand them—what he called being an “animal whisperer.” In college, I worked as a vet tech for two years, then later became a private tour guide at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, sharing my love for animals and the environment. I also studied comparative psychology (animal behavior) as part of my Psychology degree from CSUSM. I look forward to welcoming your pet into our little packPet care fits seamlessly into my daily life. I work part-time as an ABA therapist in the late afternoons and run my consulting business from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule during the day. My own calm poodle mix keeps me on a consistent walk and play routine, and I naturally fold client walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting into that rhythm. Because I work from home, I’m able to give animals plenty of attention, outdoor time, and companionship throughout the day.Dogs and cats that stay with me are given my full attention and always come first — even before my own pets. I make sure each animal feels safe, welcomed, and at home. With my background in behavior observation, I know how to recognize signs of distress and help reduce stress through calm energy, structure, and gentle care. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy and cared for. 🐾🩷🐺About My Services
I offer:
- Boarding: $119 per night. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs),
- House Sitting: $119 per night. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs).
- Drop-In Visits: $25 per visit. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs).
- Doggy Day Care: $63 per day. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs),
- Dog Walking: $25 per walk. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs).
