I have a pro plus series Jackson RR24 Guitar. I would like to have a Killswitch installed on it. On the pictures, I put a black button where I would like to put it, which is right before the volume knobs, etc.
So I wanna put it along the same line and position as the others, to look like it was built this way. Trying to make it look, professional, and not destroy the Guitar in the process! I would like a medium sized black metal Killswitch installed on the Guitar.
The problem is, that it’s in a Hard to access area and there is no pick cover in this area. It is right on the surface of the guitar.
There is also no access area there. It’s preferable if there is no hole drilled straight through the Guitar coming out the back which would need a plate covering over it, but rather a whole drilled in from the front, but not necessarily coming out the back of the Guitar. This might make it impossible to install the Killswitch? but there may be no other way to install this, but then to drill all the way through?
The problem with putting a plate cover disc there is the end of the plate cover for the volume knobs, etc., is right where that disc would be. So not sure if this can even be done. Because the two hole covers would overlap each other other
Also, since there is no access to this area, a drill hole would have to be made from the volume knobs access area into this separate drill hall to get the wires through to connect in order to make the Killswitch work.
Final problem is a lack of funding. I would like to get this entire job done as cheaply as possible. 100 maximum for the whole job, parts included.
Let me know if you can do this job, or if you can recommend someone that can do the job
