2024 Gibson Les Paul R9 1959 Custom Shop Wildwood Spec - $5,900 (North County)

I purchased this one in July. I've never been a huge fan of bursts, but when I bought this one, I loved the look and wanted to try it out, as I'd never had an R8, R9, or R0 before. I thought this one had a particularly nice top in that the burst near the bass side of the guitar seemed to look like an old one, rather than having a 1" red ring all the way around the guitar as many modern reissues do. I also thought this one had the exact right amount of flame.
This has extremely low mileage on it. I do love it, but I have an M2M Les Paul in Pelham Blue coming in early 2026 that will have the same specs (neck profile, pickups) as this R9, so this is going to become a duplicate at that point. So I'm offering it now so I can move that $$ on to other things.

Weight: 8.88 lbs (8 lbs, 14 oz)
Neck thickness: 0.90 to 1.02 (1st to 12th)
Fret Width: 2.52mm
Fret Height: 1.16 (@ 1st fret)
Pickups: Wildwood Spec Custombuckers (slightly underwound)
