If you are looking at this post, you already know what it is. Very reluctantly I am offering my beautiful, vintage and original 1988 Gibson ES-335 Dot in the most beautiful and sought after cherry finish. What you don’t know is, this guitar is in really, really nice condition for a Gibson going on 40 years old. It looks and plays absolutely fantastically with no buzzing and low action. It has a very comfortable, thin neck and comes with the OHSC, original pickups, tuners, pickguard, hardware etc. The only thing that you could reverse, which I wouldn't, would be the strap locks. These are much better and obviously decrease the chance of dropping the guitar while playing very significantly. Gibson afficionados agree that the mid to late 80's ES-335 guitars were built very well, and are excellent guitars and now that they are vintage and considered classics, their value is only going up. They truly don’t make them like this any more. Honestly, it is very rare coming across a Gibson ES335 from the 80's in this color, all while being in really nice condition and an even better player. It is a light example, which won't burden your back or present a problem being played for a longer period of time. Unplugged, the strings ring out loudly and endlessly and is well above average and this is the way I determine the quality of my Gibsons. If it sound good unplugged, it’s a keeper, and this one goes beyond that. It has been set up, the frets are ready, fresh pair of strings (11's) and it is ready to rock. The top is absolutely amazing. Honestly, as stated before, here is that rare opportunity to purchase an almost 40-year-old Gibson ES-335 from a great year at a really, really good price compared to what other people are selling these for when they do appear and in much, much worse condition. Whoever purchases this is truly getting a special guitar and should consider themselves very lucky! Don’t let this one slip away as I know it will not last and I speak from experience. Due to the very attractive price, I know that I will be contacted a lot and with that said, I won’t be able to hold the guitar for anyone; it’ll be first come first serve. Furthermore, I reserve the right to end this sale at any time should my guitar sell locally or on other websites listed. I’ve described this guitar to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions you may have and I’ll try to answer in a timely manner.
