The Winfield Cyclone is one of the best sounding EL-84 low powered amps I have ever heard. It's full-on British 60's tone, and sounds like a Marshall.
The Cyclone name is in honor of Buddy Holly's Ariel Cyclone motorcycle.
It features controls for volume, tone, master and cut. It has an EF86 preamp, 12AX7 Phase inverter, two EL84s in Push-Pull configuration and a 5AR4 Rectifier.
This rig is old school, built like a tank, yet easy to carry and transport without the back breaking job of moving a Marshall stack.
Features include 2x great sounding Eminence Legend speakers and top of the line hand wired components.
This rig has a push-pull Master Volume that allows it to be played at low volumes. If you want to get loud, you can crank it up and gig with it. The Winfield Cyclone sounds out of this world at any volume.
