Up for sale is a beautiful 2007 Taylor 614ce, with the original hardshell case. Plays and sounds great, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a cleaner one.

Grand Auditorium body size with a Sitka spruce top and gorgeous flamed maple back and sides. Maple body guitars are generally a bit brighter than rosewood or mahogany, good for cutting through a mix, and this certainly fits that description. The fingerboard and bridge are both ebony, and the guitar has the stock Taylor Expression pickup system. Electronics work perfectly with a new 9-volt battery, and the guitar is sporting a fresh set of D'Addarios.

The guitar is in outstanding shape, especially for a 17-year-old instrument. I'm selling it on behalf of the original owner, a drummer friend -- and as a drummer, he didn't play a whole lot of guitar, hence how well-preserved this one is. It really is in outstanding condition, and the case is as well. Were it not for one small smudge -- not a scratch -- in the finish on the back (see last photo), I'd call it dead mint. Comes with the original case candy, including hang tags for both guitar and case.

If you have questions, want more photos, whatever, just let me know. No trade offers, please, and lowballs will be ignored.

Thanks for looking!
