1967 R60/7 conversion with a R60/7 engine
Currently has 2171 miles from restoration/ conversion . Engine and transmission 4 speed rebuilt and all bearing and seals . Was built by master mechanic Dick Sullivan in the Bay Area (Bavarian Rodeo) painted in single stage and pin striped . Engine is 60/7 fitted with modern electrics 12 volt of the era and better oiling with needle bearing rockers for a more silent drivetrain, just recently added Euromotoelectric (Sachs) electronic ignition , points are still in place brown wire disconnected . Coil is tucked in starter cover. New ignition makes it easy to start with no choke and idles smoother . Recently did a service , all oils and valve adjustment. It has kick and electric start with /7 switch gear and /5 headlight bucket to keep clean . Included is original bench seat . I have put the major of miles. Short story, flew to Oakland and picked it up and rode it down to San Diego the following day with zero issues and constantly do longer rides on it. Tires have 1000 miles on it Pirellis sport Demon .
