We offer Surf or Standup paddle lessons or coaching for all age and all levels of experience by Helmut that has been surfing for over 25 years. We conduct lessons in Oceanside and Carlsbad
Helmut is a member of the Swamis Club and has won many surf awards and is an expert at short board or longboard.
He has helped teach the blind and challenged kids to surf. He is a Hobie Surfboard Team Rider. He is an all around Waterman even worked on ships as a Navigator.
If you want to get to the next level from a beginner or intermediate Helmut can help you by making it fun.

I can teach you to learn from just getting up to do 360's on a short board or fin first on a longboard.
You could surf many of the North County surf breaks.
Standup Paddle boarding lessons
Helmut has been standup-paddle boarding for 15yrs.
We offer lessons depending on your skills either in the Carlsbad Lagoon or in the Ocean to cruise or catch waves.
My specialty is learning different ways to use the paddle and different maneuvers.
Also he gives Surfing and Standup paddle tours in the Ocean or Carlsbad Lagoon or different areas in San Diego and even other parts of California or Arizona
Board and Wetsuits are provided

We also offer Hobie Cat and snorkeling lessons

Private Lessons: $90/person 1hr $150 2hr
Semi-Private Lessons
2 Participants/1 instructor: $75/person 1 hr $125/person for 2hr.
3 Participants/2 instructors: $65/person for1 hr $100/person for 2hr
4 Participants/2 instructors: $60/person for 1hr $90/person for 2hr
Private and semi-private lessons are a great way to advance your surfing skills in a smaller and contained group setting and more personalized attention. All camps and lessons are run in Carlsbad or Oceanside .
Lessons include board; leash, rashguard;, upon request, wetsuit.
The duration of lessons may be customized beyond the one hour standard lesson priced above.
All participants must sign waiver before start time.
