We are seeking a dependable and professional Specimen Collection Technician to support our clients onsite at their facilities throughout North County San Diego. This role involves collecting urine specimens and performing breath alcohol testing in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
The position requires flexibility and reliability, with availability for scheduled afternoon, evening, and weekend assignments.
Experience in specimen collection is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. The selected individual will receive training on proper specimen collection procedures and DOT regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
• Perform urine specimen collections and breath alcohol testing in accordance with DOT regulations
• Travel to client locations throughout North County San Diego
• Maintain professionalism while representing the company at client sites
• Follow proper documentation and chain-of-custody procedures
• Ensure all collections are performed accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations
Qualifications
• Experience in specimen collection, medical assisting, or a related field preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
• Dependable and able to work independently in the field
• Flexible availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend assignments
• Clean driving record
• Reliable personal transportation for travel to client locations
• Strong professionalism and communication skills when interacting with clients
