Also known as Rhopalostylis sapida variant "oceana" or Chatham Island, is one of the faster growing palms from New Zealand (most are slow growing). This one also tends to take the sun better than some of the others. Has a unique look with upright fronds representative of a brush used for shaving. Doesn't get too big or too tall.
Goes very well in southern or central CA, having no problem with our cool damp winters.
These were grown from seed by me (seeds source in southern CA).
Why plant the same old Queen or Dwarf Date palms when you can plant something unique and different!
