The Chamaedorea seifrizii, or common bamboo or reed palm, is a real nice clumping palm. Often used as an indoor palm, it makes a great outdoor accent palm, which takes a significant amounts of sun. Can be used as a privacy screen as well. Has long bamboo-like canes. The canes grow to form a dense clusters of fronds with, dark green to grey leaves. Very easy to grow and maintain. As with most palms, the soil should be well drained. Grows to about 7'.
Makes a great interior palm! Grown from seed by me.
