Howea forsteriana, the kentia palm, from Lord Howe Island, is one of the most tropical looking palms we can grow in CA and looks close to a coconut palm (another is the Beccariophoenix alfredii). Proven track record in growing here for many years. Holds a lot of very green fronds (15 or so) and has a nice trunk which can remain green between the rings.
