Chamaedorea costaricana forms a clusters of thin, green, bamboo-like stems thus called a bamboo palm. Tolerates full better than most Chamaedoreas and is very easy to grow. Gets larger than most of the clumping chamaedoreas as well. Grows at higher elevations in Costa Rica and thus handles cooler temps very well.
