One of the largest Chamaedoreas, this palm from rainforests stretching from southern Mexico to Panama, or possibly northern Colombia. It produces a pretty fat (for a Chamaedorea), green, solitary trunk, that holds a crown of up to 6 ascending leaves with stiff leaflets. Like other Chamaedoreas, it adapts extremely well to cultivation and does best in a warm temperate climate under some canopy, although they do handle a good amount of sun. It is tolerant of cool conditions and will take an occasional light winter freeze without damage. Easy to grow tree and is pretty quick for a palm.

1 gallon $30

5 gallon $50 (pics 5,6)

15 gallon $125 (pics 5-8), one left

Also have Chamaedorea tepejilote too, which has a fatter trunk as well.
