The Party Staff, Inc. is actively hiring experienced Catering Servers to support events throughout North County San Diego.
We partner with hotels, event venues, private clients, and catering companies across Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Vista, Escondido, and surrounding areas.
These are on-call flexible positions ideal for experienced servers who want consistent opportunities while maintaining control of their schedule. Some events are booked in advance, while others are last-minute. You choose when you work.
A minimum commitment of two Saturdays per month is required.
Position: Catering Server (Experienced Only)

• Banquet, catering, and private event service
• Tray pass, plated service, buffet setup/service, and light bar support
• Set up, maintain, and break down event spaces with attention to detail
• Provide polished, professional guest service in fast-paced environments
Pay
• $19-$21 per hour starting base wage, depending on experience
• Weekly pay
• Opportunities for higher-end events and consistent placements for top performers
What We’re Looking For
• Previous catering or banquet serving experience REQUIRED
• Comfortable with tray passing and full-service event flow
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable transportation strongly recommended (client locations throughout North County San Diego area)
• Team-oriented, dependable, and able to take direction on-site
