The Moonlight Experience Host serves as an acting Innkeeper: a hands-on leader who ensures every reservation, guest interaction, and daily rhythm reflects our core values of Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork, Love, and Authenticity.
This role blends eco-luxury hospitality, reservations management, and personalized guest care to create seamless, memorable, and deeply restorative stays.
About the Role
As a Moonlight Experience Host, your primary accountability is complete and seamless reservation and guest services ensuring every guest interaction, from booking to checkout, reflects our values of mindfulness, authenticity, and care. You’ll also support daily operations and experiential details that sustain the calm rhythm of the Inn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reservations & Revenue
- Manage reservations across direct bookings, Online Travel Agencies, and partnerships
- Optimize occupancy, drive direct bookings, and upsell wellness or retreat offerings
- Coordinate guest communications and confirmations with clarity and warmth
- Maintain reservation systems and ensure accurate reporting
Guest Services
- Personally welcome and orient guests, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures.
- Respond promptly and graciously to all guest needs.
- Curate personalized touches, from in-room amenities to wellness experiences.
- Share recommendations aligned with Moonlight Itineraries and local experiences
- Oversee daily readiness: walkthroughs, audit payments, and presentation.
Groups & Events
- Act as primary contact for retreats, corporate offsites, and group stays.
- Coordinate itineraries, layouts, and special requests.
Operations
- Assist with breakfast, lounge setup, garden /property care and laundry as needed.
- Support housekeeping, maintenance, and wellness practitioners as needed.
- Prepare and refresh guest rooms and shared areas to our mindful aesthetic standard. Curate thoughtful touches such as flowers, tea, or handwritten notes
Team & Culture
- Collaborate with ownership and a small, dedicated team.
- Take initiative
- Use technology (including AI tools) to streamline workflows.
- Maintain grace under pressure, supporting team well-being.
Quality & Growth
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews to elevate service.
- Contribute to refining protocols, communications, and offerings.
- Support small wellness or creative activities when scheduled
- Ensure each guest departs feeling nourished, seen, and restored
Daily activities may also include:
- Preparing guest rooms and shared spaces
- Assisting with breakfast setup and light garden care
- Welcoming and orienting guests
- Creating thoughtful touches that elevate each stay
- You will help ensure every guest experience feels calm, cared for, and aligned with the natural rhythm of the Inn.

Who You Are
- 2+ years in boutique hospitality, reservations, or guest services.
- Warm, articulate, and confident with multitasking.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
- Passionate about hospitality, wellness, and conscious living.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $72,000/year (pre-tax)
- Performance Incentives: Commissions on upsells, retreats, and events
- Vacation: Two weeks paid
- Insurance: Dental & vision fully covered; $250/month medical reimbursement
