We need people who understand football to help capture video and log play results at Gay Bowl San Diego, an adult flag football tournament taking place on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4 at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar.
Your job: Capture video of every play of adult flag football games and log the result of each play (completion, TD, first down, INT, etc.) using our equipment and app. You need to know where the action's going, stay ahead of plays, and track downs and play results accurately.
Who we want:
* Current or former flag or tackle football players
* Coaches, refs, and serious fans
* People who can follow game flow during a hurry-up offense
Who this isn't for:
* Professional videographers
* People who don't know the difference between a touchdown and a touchback
What you'll do:
* Film plays with a phone we provide you (we train you on our simple system)
* Track play results in real-time
* Be on your feet moving along the sidelines for 1.25-hour games
Logistics:
* Dates: Friday-Saturday October 3-4
* Shifts: Half or full days (7:30am - 5:15PM)
* Paid training (1 hour hands-on and 30-min video you watch on your own)
* Must have reliable transportation to fields
Pay: $17.25 -$20/hr based on your football knowledge, prior work history, and availability.
This is NOT a videography job - it's for football people that happens to use a camera. Your game IQ matters way more than camera skills (we'll teach you those, but we can't teach you football!)
