i bought these new back in the 80's - sound great (still do!) never had any problems, stored them for 4-5 years a few years back when i moved to NY at moms and pulled them out about 2-3 years ago when i returned - had the pots cleaned in the preamp and both checked out health wise by vista audio repair - all good! the 535 MKII is largely acknowledged as best of the 80's adcom's sound wise and some says " a legendary giant killer amplifier" - today still hold its own against other more expensive SS vintage amps. I have decided to go all tube amps, and it seems wrong to not let the next audiophile on the cheap guy not enjoy these for another decade or two-i even have the original boxes for them (missing some of the Styrofoam inserts ) . any questions please ask
