Solana Beach Presbyterian Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Two-Year-Old Preschool Teacher to join our team. We provide a warm, nurturing, and faith-based environment where young children can grow in their spiritual, social, and academic development. The Role:
We are looking for an energetic, patient, and eager individual with a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education and a love for working with two-year-old children. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that integrates Christian principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum & Instruction: Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage learning.
• Nurturing Environment: Create a loving and supportive classroom where children feel secure and valued as individuals.
• Spiritual Development: Integrate simple Bible stories and Christian values into daily lessons and activities.
• Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care at all times.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open and consistent communication with parents about their child’s progress.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members and the director to provide a high-quality program.
Schedule & Compensation:
• Salary: $22.00 per hour

Qualifications:
• Experience working with toddlers or in a preschool setting.
• Child Development Certification
• 12 Child Development units in:
o Child/Human Growth and Development
o Child, Family and Community
o Program/Curriculum
o Infant Toddler Development
• A solid understanding of early childhood development principles.
• Commitment to our faith-based mission and values.
• Ability to pass a background check and complete all required licensing paperwork.
