Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record (no DUIs, no serious violations).
Able to pass a standard physical exam and Liv Scan (required for DMV instructor certification).
Must pass the DMV Driving Instructor written test (written exam administered by DMV). Don’t worry – we provide training to help you succeed!
Great communication and patience. You must enjoy working with teens and new drivers in a calm, encouraging way.
Retirees, college students, and rideshare drivers looking for extra income are welcome! We strongly encourage female candidates and bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants to apply.
