So this 2001 Lincoln Town Car is a cream puff. I just bought it from my wife's father because he's 90 and just stopped driving for good. He's the original owner, and took care of it like it was his kid. I just drove the car 18 hours from Texas and it floats down the road like a land Yacht. It's a smooth ride, A/C was ice cold, everything works as it should on the car. No leaks what so ever, new battery, tires are almost new. The car has been garage kept it's whole life. The car has 115,000 miles and as you probably know these engines are bulletproof. The 4.6L was used in many vehicles, limousines, cop cars, Mercury Grand Marquis, Ford Crown Victoria, Mustang, F150 pick up, etc etc. So there will be parts for this vehicle till the end of time. I had a Crown Vic years ago with 275k and it was more reliable then a Camry I had. The most incredible thing I couldn't believe while driving it from Texas was the 25 MPG, for a car this size that's unbelievable. I just got the car smogged, it passed no problem and just got the California registration, just waiting for the title so that should be here in a couple weeks. The title is in MY name, no I'm not selling it for someone else or any kind of weird story. This is a solid car that you should be able to just turn the key and drive for many many years. Also I'm selling the car to someone who wants it for themself, not to flippers, so I will sign and date the title and put your name on it when the deal is complete, so no you won't be leaving with a signed title to try and flip the car.
