United Access of San Diego located in the Kearny Mesa area is selling a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L in Mopar White with 42,592 miles on the odometer. This Pacifica has been converted into a wheelchair accessible vehicle by BraunAbility. These conversions make it possible for those with physical limitations to be able to get out of their home and enjoy life with the rest of their family and friends. The rear entry conversion is designed to make enough room in the rear of the van to load a wheelchair without the entire vehicle undergoing the major surgery that the side entry conversions require.
This particular conversion is a little bit different and a bit better than most of the other pre-owned vehicles you will see out there. This is because BraunAbility spent a little more time and effort to find a pre-owned van to convert into a wheelchair accessible vehicle. What they do is search out a quality pre-owned van, bring it back to their factory in Indiana, check it over from top to bottom for any kind of mechanical or structural defects, then if it passes the test it's placed into the production line for conversion. Because the conversion is brand new, it carries the full factory warranty as if it came in a brand new $90,000 vehicle. The only difference is that the total purchase cost is considerably less expensive for the client.
Because they don't require as much work as the other vehicles, the cost of a rear entry van is significantly lower. Even though they cost less, BraunAbility still uses high quality parts and the finest craftsmanship in the industry. These vans do not come around very often for us, but we're happy when they do. It's a great solution for someone with mobility issues at a much more reasonable cost. Who isn't looking to get the most bang for their buck these days?
This Pacifica is very clean and in great running condition. It's been inspected and serviced at the Braun factory, by our local 3rd party independent mechanic, and again by our service department. There are no stories or surprises, everything is as clean as you could possibly hope for on a preowned vehicle. We check, and double check, and triple check these vehicles for a VERY good reason. Having a breakdown for someone with mobility issues is much more difficult and much more stressful than it is for someone without mobility issues. To stand behind our inspection and servicing, we provide a 3 month, 3,000 mile warranty on the entire vehicle AND the entire mobility system. Nobody else comes close to offering the guarantee that we do. It's included at no cost to you. There's even a longer warranty available on the vehicle and the equipment/conversion.
The mobility equipment is very easy to use. The rear door opens up very easily for almost anyone. Once the door is open, there's a small tailgate to be lowered for the ramp to release. Once the tailgate is lowered, the ramp pulls down and you're ready to load the wheelchair. The rear of the van is equipped with 4 separate points to attach the restraints for the wheelchair to, so you attach those, close up the rear of the van and you re ready to ride.
