LOT of Five COMPLETE, sequential, issues of the North County Times newspaper with headlines following the October 2003 Cedar / Paradise firestorm and the devastation it brought to the County of San Diego. Each filled with color photos and maps detailing of the growth of the multiple wildfires in the region exacerbated by the now infamous Santa Ana winds.

First issue "FIRESTORM" dates October 27, 2003 and recounts the initial devastation across the county of San Diego; including Valley Center, Scripps Ranch and Camp Pendleton. It also announces the closures of many county schools, government offices and the change in venue for the Miami-Dolphins vs San Diego Chargers NFL game from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego to Tempe, AZ.

Second issue "UNIMAGINABLE" dates October 28, 2003 and is now identified as "FIRESTORM / DAY TWO". Photos show local neighborhoods reduced to ashes and reports: Lives Lost 12; Homes Destroyed 585; Acres Burned 288,000.

Third issue "Julian Threatened" dates October 29, 2003 and is identified as "FIRESTORM / DAY THREE". Photos of monstrous flames engulfing a structure and rereports: Lives Lost 12; Home Destroyed 1000; Acres Burned 300,000

Fourth issue "Death toll mounts" dates October 30, 2003 and is identified as "FIRESTORM / DAY FOUR". This issue includes additional wildfires in Los Angeles as well as Denver, Colorado. Photos of aerial water drops and Sherriff's Chaplin speaking with front line firefighters and reports: Lives Lost 16; Homes Destroyed 1600; Acres Burned 356,000

Fifth issue "Community grieves " dates October 31, 2003 and is identified as "FIRESTORM / DAY FIVE". This issue discusses a glimmer of hope and cooler weather comes to the County of San Diego. Photo of funeral held for first victim of the wildfire, a 16-year-old from Valley Center and reports: Lives Lost 16; Homes Destroyed 1600; Acres Burned 383,000

These are in PRISTINE CONDITION and look as if they were printed yesterday. Each issue is COMPLETE with all sections and advertisements. Only first edition appears to have stacking wrinkles from newspaper vending machine.
