The tag on the handbars is original - it came out of the box like that. In fact, the whole thing just came out of the box. My neighbor gave it to me after it sat in her garage unassembled for years (the tag suggests since 2013). I cleaned it up, put it together, and added a missing seat post.
I see this as a bike for the boardwalk or around your community on paved, flat, and level bike paths. Because it has only a single speed, for just cruising, it would not be suitable for any hills or offroad terrain of any sort.
