One outer frame is a dark brown, substantial hard wood, and is an antique from my great grandmother from Germany. My mother took that to the frame shop and had a custom frame made with the same dimensions and color. I believe the 2 gold inner frames were custom made at that time (1973), but may be frames she already had that are older. Ribbon in one frame needs to be reset.
