belonged to my grandfather who was born in 1884 and passed in 1944
considering how old it is, the exterior underneath shows the authenticity of age, but it's just the exterior that's impaired; the other 3 sides are good and the interior is clean and the leather handles are intact. This is a treasure for an appreciator of antiques and history.
