A Frederick Gutekunst portrait photograph of a unknown man, possibly a politician, in 1880,impressed with Gutekunst's name, 22"x26" overall in what seems to be the original gesso frame. Frame has some damage, picture has some spotting and aging. This photograph has survived for over 140 years. Gutekunst (1831-1917), was well known for his portraits of Civil War generals and business and political leaders, and for his panoramic landscapes.
