Vintage beautiful hand carved walnut coffee table with unique curved serpentine design and top. There are carved angels on each side with gold wings. The top has 24 hand carved inlaid flowers with over a dozen different exotic wood species The table is vintage 1930's and has French, Louis XV, and Italian influences. It was purchased in San Francisco over 80 years ago. It is 47" long, 22" wide, and 18" tall. The top is 7/8" thick, the hand carved sides are 1" to 1.5" thick. All four curved legs are also hand carved and have floral and grape like details. There are four small brass floral embellishments on the 4 corner areas. There are some blemishes consistent with age but nothing major and the legs are secure with no wobble. It is unaltered, in original condition, and the marquetry is unworn and beautiful.
