This large, beautiful, bright-colored handwoven wool tapestry was created by Peruvian artist V. Yuri. It depicts a stylized view of an Andean mountain village with a group of figures standing in the village center. The piece has a woven signature to the lower right and is finished with hand-bound edges. It is elegantly framed in an acrylic installation box with beige linen backing. Indeed museum-quality acrylic encased frame. The frame alone cost $500.
