Alan Casagrande Surf Artist California.
Alan has been creating works of art for well over 30 years and enjoys a wide variety of media and styles. Alan graduated from Hollywood Art Centre in the early eighties and is a member of the Screen Cartoonists Union. He has worked on numerous animated shows and commercials over the years. He sells his paintings in several stores in Southern California, Waikiki, and off the Web. He also enjoys doing street fairs and normally works the circuit on the coast. His customers span from the West to the East Coast of USA as well as Australia and Japan. Alan likes to travel and gets his inspiration and a lot of his subject matter from trips he has taken, where he always brings along his paints and canvas. From water colors, acrylics, pen and inks, pastels and woodcarvings, Alan creates an easy to recognize style of his own. His other interests are surfing, sailing, playing surf music, scuba diving and shooting underwater videos.
His work is hard to find. I have not found any of these works available. Asking $157 each and $450. for all three.
