Hand-painted Oil Paintings on Canvas: Large Wholesale ART LOT (closeout - just $25 for each painting). Buy and Then Retail them for a profit!
==================================================================
Offer, sell, or rent beautiful, affordably priced artworks—genuine hand-painted oil paintings on canvas created by professional artists—to consumers and businesses.
If, after reading this ad, you believe you may be the right person to start, conduct, and benefit from this type of business, I can offer you a large, hand-selected inventory of oil paintings on canvas and art frames. I can share with you the methods that have worked for me in selling or renting/leasing decorative art, handling oil paintings, and incorporating them into readymade art frames.
I started my fulfilling and profitable decorating ART business in 1998. However, I eventually reached retirement age and was no longer able to manage this business efficiently.
To be clear, I am offering a large art "lot." This "lot" includes approximately 3,000 hand-painted oil paintings on canvas in various styles and sizes at DEEPLY DISCOUNTED BELOW WHOLESALE PRICES.
THE AVERAGE PRICE OF THE HAND-PAINTED OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS IN THIS ART "LOT" IS ONLY $25 PER PAINTING!
When my business was active, the average retail selling price for my framed paintings ranged from $195 (for small paintings) to $395 (for larger paintings). I have the paperwork to prove it if needed.
Looking at my average retail prices when my business was active, and my current offered prices in this "Art lot," $25 per hand-painted oil painting on art canvas, you can see that the retail markup—the profit potential—could be substantial.
Also, unlike "irons or coffee pots," hand-painted oil paintings do not have standardized SKU numbers or fixed market prices. For that reason, THERE IS NO "COMPARISON SHOPPING"!
This entire situation presents an additional opportunity, and here is where you may want to step in…
==================================================================
I still have approximately 3,000 oil paintings on canvas in various styles and sizes, as well as many readymade art frames. My art inventory is located in North County, San Diego, but you can run the Art Selling and Art Renting/Leasing business anywhere.
If you are an interested party and we reach a reasonable agreement, it may take a couple of days to organize the setup at your location. Once this is done, you will be ready to start the new business (or add another profit center to your existing one.
==================================================================
I want to be clear: these oil paintings are not "collector's art." They are simply beautiful hand-painted oil paintings on canvas, mostly imported from overseas art studios.
The talented professional artists, inspired by famous masters, hand-painted these artworks, and some of these colorful paintings are original creations of aspiring artists.
The dimensions of the paintings are 16"x20", 20"x24", 24"x36", and 36"x48".
Initially, when I decided to procure my art inventory, I visited a few trade shows where most international commercial art studios were selling oil paintings and art supplies. These studios offered reasonable wholesale prices for well-selling paintings created in various sizes and dimensions.
Later, over the years, I have seen similar imported decorating oil paintings at a few upscale retail art galleries.
In one art gallery, I saw a "flower bucket" painting in a readymade frame placed on the wall with a spotlight on it. Next to the displayed painting was a small table with a bottle of fine champagne, creating the perfect ambiance. It was the same imported painting from the same art studio I had in my Inventory, signed by the same artist. However, to my surprise, the art gallery was selling their "flower painting" for several thousand dollars…
Naturally, you could offer framed, hand-painted oil paintings for a fraction of the cost of those sold at art galleries and make a good profit...
As I mentioned earlier, realistically speaking, when my business was active, the average selling price for my framed paintings was between $195 and $395. These days, selling prices could be higher!
As we know, "it takes some money to make money," I would want the entrepreneur who contacts me to be able to purchase and take over the entire Inventory of paintings and art frames.

THE FOLLOWING IS ADDITIONAL DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS that I have had…
Very few people visit art galleries to purchase paintings for their homes or offices. Most customers have no idea how much oil painting should cost and will be "intimidated" by art galleries' "off the wall" prices…
HOWEVER, A HOUSE IS NOT A HOME WITHOUT ART!
For example, a 3-4 bedroom house with bare walls may require about 15-20 paintings, but what are the options for affordable art decorating choices?
There are $50 paper posters in flimsy plastic frames available out there, but people with nice houses generally would not settle for such "art." Instead, the local shopping mall's art store may offer some pretentious, framed printed-on-paper images or digital prints made by machines for a couple of hundred dollars and more, often in plastic frames.
==============================================================
I have never met a customer who preferred framed paper prints in plastic frames hanging on the walls of their homes or offices over hand-painted oil paintings on canvas, professionally stretched and framed in solid wood art frames.
Even if your potential customer went to a discount store or shopping mall looking for "art," THE PRICES YOU WILL OFFER YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR THE REAL THING - HAND-PAINTED OIL PAINTINGS IN WOODEN ART FRAMES may be the same as the shopping mall's prices, OR LOWER. STILL, YOU MAY HAVE A HEALTHY PROFIT ON EACH ARTWORK YOU SELL.
You could offer these artworks to private individuals, interior decorators, small hotels, business offices, doctors' and dentists' offices, and so on...
Additionally, you may offer these artworks and participate in non-profit fundraising activities, such as silent art auctions, for organizations, including non-profit institutions, churches, temples, schools, and other charitable venues. They all want and need to raise money, and you can offer them a good solution.
For example, the starting bid at the auction should include your "cost of goods" plus your "profit/markup." Everything over and above your costs and your profit would go to the needs of non-profit organizations and their causes.
==================================================================
You may also "Rent to Own" framed artworks for various businesses and offices. The business owner would not have to pay upfront to purchase several artworks. Instead, you and the business owner could select a "package" consisting of several paintings. Then, for a very affordable monthly rental fee, business owners could create an excellent office environment for their employees and visitors by placing nice framed oil paintings on the walls. You could sign a contract for a year or so with the business owner and begin collecting your rental payments on a monthly basis.
At the end of the rental or lease term, business owners can purchase what they were renting at a predetermined, fixed price stated in their contract, known as a lease-to-own option. They could also return paintings to you or exchange them for new ones from your stock and continue renting.
Let's say you offer a 10-piece framed artwork package, you priced at $3,000. You charge $275 per month for 12 months of rental for this package. (Usually, rental/lease payments are tax-deductible for businesses), WHICH MAY REDUCE THE ACTUAL COST OF RENTING FOR THE BUSINESS.
Therefore, at the end of the rental or leasing term, the business owner could purchase their rented "package" for a residual value of $275.
($275 x 12months = $3,300 + buyout for $275 = You will recive total of $3,575).
Of course, if business owners want to purchase the paintings they are renting before the rent/lease term ends, you could make such an option available and calculate the appropriate sale price for your artworks at the time of the requested sale.
In any case, the customer/business owner must visit you to purchase their art package, or return paintings to you at the end of the rental/lease period, or exchange artworks and continue renting/leasing under the new contract. THEN, YOU WILL HAVE ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DEAL WITH THE SAME CUSTOMER.
UNLIKE MANY OTHER PRODUCTS THAT ARE BEING USED AND LOSE VALUE, ARTWORKS ON THE WALLS DO NOT HAVE DEPRECIATION DUE TO "WEAR AND TEAR," AND THEY NEVER GO "OUT OF STYLE! Therefore, you may also rotate your artworks in your "Rent/Lease" program, and you could consistently profit from such well-organized transactions.
You could also rent these oil paintings to staging companies. Such companies are helping real estate agents to decorate nice homes that are offered for sale. Staging companies typically provide furniture, rugs, and plants to enhance the appearance of the house for potential buyers. You could become a part of the staging business by offering and renting your paintings for a profit.
==================================================================
I operated from the business park with a small warehouse and attached office when my business was active. I did some advertising, and customers would come to my location "by appointment." I also had a few commercial customers, and their larger orders (framed decorative paintings) were shipped stacked on pallets by the delivery trucks with liftgates.
You don't need an expensive office. You can conduct this business from home (if space allows) or use a home office and additional storage space. A business park location that allows for meeting customers by appointment will naturally be a better option. Of course, if you prefer, you can run your retail operation, commercial art sales, and art rental business from a small local shopping mall store with storage.
A minimum of the simple tools is required to handle the stretching and framing of oil paintings on canvas. After your business gets going, I can continue supplying you with additional paintings and readymade art frames at the wholesale prices that will be in effect at that time.
==================================================================
The largest dimensions of oil paintings on canvas that I currently have in stock are 36" x 48". These are unframed dimensions of the actual oil painting, hand-painted on art canvas.
Some larger contemporary or abstract paintings, such as 36" x 48", do not require framing. Instead, they could be stretched over thicker stretching wooden bars. In such cases, parts of the image will end up on the edges of the stretching bars. Therefore, the actual image of the painting could become a couple of inches smaller on each side (it is called gallery stretching).
There is a saying: "Art frame makes the painting"! So, I also have readymade art frames that match the dimensions of the paintings.
Let's say you have a 24"x 36" oil painting on canvas. It is the most common size people place on the wall above the couch in the living room.
After a painting on canvas is stretched over wooden bars and placed inside a "readymade frame," the overall dimensions of the finished artwork will become larger. It is based on the molding width of your art frame. For example, if you use the painting on canvas 24"x 36" and use an art frame with molding 4" wide, your finished artwork will have overall dimensions of 32"x 44".
==================================================================
The paintings in my stock are available in the following dimensions: 16"x20", 20"x24", 24"x36", and some 36"x48". These standard painting sizes are designed to fit inside readymade art frames commonly used in the USA for decorating homes and offices. I also have some smaller gift-size paintings and frames, 8"x10".
Usually, it is substantially less expensive to use readymade frames. I do have a selection of nice art frames in stock. I also have some already stretched-over wooden bars paintings that are ready to be placed by hand inside art frames using simple art clips.
However, if, in occasional cases, your customer may want a very particular color and style of art frame, then any painting could be placed in the custom-made frame. Such service is available at any art framing store at the customer's expense.

Seeing is believing, and for a better understanding of the types of oil paintings on canvas I have in stock, please view my "online" catalog. To see the paintings I have in stock, VISIT MY ONLINE CATALOG BY ENTERING TO THE TOP OF YOUR BROWSING BAR: www.ArtPaintings4less.com
Then, PLEASE READ THE BRIEF, YET DETAILED VIEWING INSTRUCTIONS ON THE "HOME PAGE" to understand the dimensions of paintings better as you click forward...
IT IS NOT A COMMERCIAL WEBSITE; it is simply a catalog featuring photos of actual paintings organized by style, category, stock number, and dimensions. (There are no listed retail prices, and it would be up to you how much you would want to charge your customers)…
You can easily transfer all images and photos of paintings from my catalog to a CD or flash drive and present them to your potential customers for them to choose. Once the customer selects the paintings, you can proceed with providing your quote.
You can view all images online and Zoom in on any image. Each image or painting has its stock number.
All paintings are also categorized by categories such as Abstract, Animals, People, and others. Additionally, paintings are categorized by quality level and the artwork's detail (represented by A, B, and C, which correspond to the degrees of difficulty involved in creating any particular artwork).
Naturally, the hand-painting of each artwork by an artist requires time and effort. Therefore, creating a very detailed style of artwork takes longer and requires additional specific skills of the artist. For example, creating classical-style artwork with multiple subjects is more complex and time-consuming than creating abstract artwork. It is why all paintings in my catalog are categorized into A, B, and C categories, in addition to their dimensions.
=========================================================
You can also profit from selling unstretched and unframed oil paintings on canvas. It is easy to roll up a canvas/painting and ship it inside a tube if needed. I tried this, but in such cases, your customers would have to go to the custom art framing shop and MOST LIKELY PAY THREE TIMES MORE FOR STRETCHING AND THEN FOR CUSTOM FRAMING THAN YOU WOULD CHARGE THEM FOR THE COMPLETED, ALREADY STRETCHED, AND FRAMED ARTWORK READY TO GO ON THE WALL.
THEREFORE, YOU WOULD WANT TO KEEP THE PROFITS FROM SELLING A PAINTING AND FRAMING IT FOR YOURSELF AND ALWAYS OFFER AND SELL READY-TO-HANG, FINISHED, (STRETCHED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE), AND FRAMED ARTWORK.
==================================================================
I WANT TO CLARIFY AGAIN: I'M NOT SELLING AN ONGOING OPERATION OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. I'M SIMPLY ADVERTISING FOR SALE TO INTERESTED PARTIES MY EXISTING ART INVENTORY, AND MY "KNOW-HOW" IS FREE!

P.S. Please also note:
A few big websites sell similar decorating oil paintings online.
HOWEVER, BASED ON MY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, I DO NOT SUGGEST. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT ADVISE YOU TO START ADVERTISING THE NEW E-COMMERCE INTERNET-BASED WEBSITE FEATURING PAINTINGS AND FRAMES...
THE FEW IMPORTANT REASONS ARE;
1. It is almost impossible to ship sizeable framed artwork because the framed paintings often get damaged during transit, and you may not have a replacement. For safe shipping, you will need a special shipping cradle, which may cost more than you charge for your framed artwork. Therefore, without having a special shipping cradle, you could lose the painting, the frame, and the shipping charge. Then you would have to refund your customer's money.
2. Shipping charges and shipping insurance are very expensive. It is also very challenging to purchase economical and adequate insurance to cover the damages to your shipped framed oil paintings and receive reimbursement from an insurance company for damaged parcels.
3. Trying to create your own custom packaging or a cradle for shipping sizable framed paintings is highly time-consuming and costly.
4. Additionally, several large internet-based art companies have substantial online advertising budgets, making it unrealistic to compete with them in an online eCommerce business.
HOWEVER, LARGE ONLINE COMPANIES ARE SELLING SIMILAR PAINTINGS AND FRAMES AT VERY HIGH PRICES. YOU CAN COMPETE WITH THEM BY OFFERING YOUR HAND-PAINTED, FRAMED ARTWORK AT LOWER PRICES TO CUSTOMERS AND BUSINESSES IN YOUR SERVICE AREA. CUSTOMERS CAN PICK UP THE FINISHED ARTWORK OR, IF DESIRED, ARRANGE FOR DELIVERY BY CAR WITHIN YOUR SERVICE AREA (WITHOUT SHIPPING), ALLOWING YOU TO EARN A GOOD PROFIT!
