Banning and Son Inc. is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join our team. This is a leadership position for someone who is highly skilled in multiple areas of construction and capable of managing projects while working alongside the crew when needed.
We perform a wide range of residential, commercial, and municipal work and are looking for someone dependable, organized, and solutions-oriented who takes pride in quality workmanship.
Responsibilities include:
Managing daily job site operations
Scheduling crews and coordinating workflow
Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries
Communicating with office staff and project contacts
Supervising crew members and subcontractors
Ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope
Maintaining job site safety and cleanliness
Assisting hands-on in the field when needed
Tracking job progress and reporting updates
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical
Ability to read plans and specifications
Experience managing multiple job sites
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to problem-solve in the field
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
Preferred (but not required):
Experience working with city, county, or public works projects
Experience coordinating inspections
Material takeoff experience
