It has gotten wet from rain once. It might be totally fine, it might not be. I have no idea.
I bought this used for $1000 to install into my Prius, but I have too many other projects going on so I am selling it. This battery kit costed more than $10,000 when it was new.
Supposedly it can provide 25 to 30 miles of all electric range, or you can keep the car in hybrid mode and it will give the car 100+ MPG for a longer time until the battery is depleted, then it’s charged again with a 120V outlet.
$100 takes it. this battery uses high quality A123 cells which might be worth money on their own. I will also include the wiring that came with the battery when I bought it.
