I have a JackTrip Labs paid account which allows others who download the free JackTrip Labs App to jam with me remotely for free if they use me as a referral when getting setup. We can have up to 10 musicians all seeing each other and jamming with each other simultaneously online for up to a 6 hour continuous session. This post is for intermediate to advanced level musicians who like to play cover songs on their instruments of choice. Notice will be given in advance like a week or two ahead of the Jam Session of what songs we'll play with Lead sheets being made available of those songs. If you have two songs you'd like us to do at the session, we will consider them for the Jam Session. This is a great way to brush up on your chops and maybe meet other players you could gig with down the road. From Rock to Jazz, it's all wide open. I'm currently getting 12 to 16ms using standard Cox Cable Internet. That's like we are facing each other on either end of a parking space latency wise. I go thru my DAW and use Amplitube 5 for Amp Sims, sounds amazing. I myself play Classic Rock/Blues Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country, Funk, Synth POP, Alternate and pretty much anything that sounds good. I do not play Punk, Death Metal, Gangster Rap or Polka...Just saying...I'm a Pro Lead Guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. If you want to join a rock session with me and the other players in the coming weeks and you're hip enough to professionally do JackTrip Remote Jamming, I will be playing Organ/vocals on the Doors "Light my Fire", Bass on the Meters "Sissy Strut and Lead guitar on Steely Dan "Reeling in the Years". If there are any Dead Heads out there, I would be happy to play bass on "Truckin". If you have songs that you think would sound good for us to Jam on, just let us know. 1960' to 1980' hit rock songs are my favorite rock era's but anything that grooves is great to do. As Intermediate/Advanced Musicians we are expected to have learned our parts to the agreed upon tunes in advance for the Jam Sessions we want to participate in. These are Performance Jams, not for asking others to teach you the song during the session. That's about it...And as Bach was fond of saying..."Put a dip in you're hip and a slide in your glide"...Peace Out...
