Guitar player with lots of live experience, late 40s.

Looking to join or form a cover band. My general preferences:

•70s Melodic Hard Rock/Prog/AOR
•80s New Wave/Hard Rock/Metal
•70s thru 90s Country
•70s Funk/Disco
•Early 2000s Hip Hop/RnB

Willing to play other genres mixed in, but I'm not a good fit for Grunge or 90s Alternative. Also not really looking to do a tribute band.

No rotating jams or busking. Looking to play official gigs (any size bar, club, restaurant or civic event). Not particular about pay.

Newly forming is OK if the goal is to form a stable band, practice and then gig (not a jam situation).

Weekly practices anywhere in the county. I have a job, vehicle, equipment.
