Bar gigs. Playing out. I’m a Seasoned Singer Guitar & Bass Player New Orleans Trios , 4-5 piece player and played SD in the 90s for 10 years. 30 years playing in Calif. and Overseas
My best Genre, Southern and Soulful Bar Anthems. Drop D or downtuned sometimes. Slide songs. Throwbacks Midnight Rider Drift Away ZZ Top1980, Struck in the Middle, some Talking Heads, Black Crows, Drift Away, Long Hollies, Warren Zevon, Randy Newman, Big n Rich, Phil Collins, Hollies, Tom Petty Wildflowers album, George Harrison ect; 90% Straight ahead Rockers.. I record simple by myself on iPhone and then put them out to the Players. Two or 3 full rehearsals and get to it.
I’m no true Tenor you’ll hear that by my recordings but I’m considered to have a nice voice .and,- am looking for other singers that play so we can back you and avoid the fatigue of one singer
Times have changed a bit, I’m not well-connected, but I have the knowhow and means to get work. I wouldn’t book a underpaying gig
I record myself on my iPhone for roughs, and send it to the rest or the band by phone or email then I would rely on lto do your homework. I may change keys for ease and send a short or modified version of the song vocals / guitar Full Rehearsals, will have to use the hourly rental studios with full equip for rehearsals. 80-100 hour at least once monthly. Or,- if someone has a decent practice space , great. . I have a few prospective gigs in mind already so I would like to start communicating asap to get a hold on things because most gigs are booked ahead of the holidays. I don’t really care much because I don’t rely on gig money to pay for anything but my alcohol drug and gas money. Usual should be minimum of 70 -100plus dollars even. Look at this as a startup project and if you’re looking for an already formed project, - this is not it.

I have a great PA and mics, and a Simmons drum kit, basses and great rig, lighting, all quick setup stuff. And as a courtesy, don’t flag this just because you don’t like what you read or doesn’t suit your instant band model.
