Beautiful large set of china by the Edwin M Knowles Company. Made of semi-vitreous china in the USA. The pattern is Sylvan, which I believe was introduced in 1934. 7 piece place setting for 12. The seven piece setting consists of dinner, salad, and bread/dessert plates, cup, saucer, soup bowls, and berry/sherbet bowls.

The serving pieces are; 16" oval platter, 11" oval platter, 8" oval plate, gravy boat, oval covered vegetable, 2 round vegetable bowls, coffee pot, creamer and sugar. 94 PIECES. All clean, no chips or cracks. This set came into my family in approximately 1939.
