💛 In-Home Caregiver for 90-Year-Old Woman (Spring Valley – East County)
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide daily in-home care for a 90-year-old woman who is non-ambulatory and requires full assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs). She lives in a busy, multigenerational household with work, school, and sports routines, so reliability and attentiveness are essential.
🕒 Schedule
Fridays and Saturdays December
Evening: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (sometimes later)
December 28 - January 2 - full shifts, possible overnights
Additional hours may be available for the right candidate.
💵 Compensation
$22 – $25 per hour, based on experience
Long-term placement preferred
🧡 Responsibilities
Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and incontinence care
Support safe transfers between bed, wheelchair, and recliner (gait belt/transfer device experience preferred)
Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and monitor fluid intake
Maintain personal comfort and prevent skin breakdown or pressure sores
Encourage light cognitive and sensory engagement (conversation, simple exercises, music, or fresh air on the deck)
Perform light housekeeping including laundry, linens, and tidying her living space
Promptly and professionally communicate any changes in health or comfort to the family
✅ Qualifications
Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or CNA providing full ADL support
Ability to perform physical transfers and manage incontinence care with dignity and respect
Must pass a background check
Must be willing to receive reportable income (no under-the-table pay)
Kind, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills
Comfortable working in an active family home (we have 2 dogs and 1 cat)
Prior experience caring for elderly or non-ambulatory individuals preferred

Our grandmother lives with us and requires full assistance with daily activities. The home is clean, smoke-free, and safe. We value kindness, respect, and open communication.
