1968 CHEVROLET Caprice 2Dr HT Second Owner 81K Miles ORIGINAL - $15000
A CAR IS ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE. Remember that when you look at this one.
We have owned this car 20 years. 81K miles since new. NEVER DAMAGED, NEVER PAINTED. a TRUE VIRGIN. The car is available NOW ! IF YOU ARE SERIOUS, AND PREPARED TO PAY MY FIRM PRICE, please provide your phone number so I can confirm that fact. I don't care what other car you "missed" at a lower price.
This car has a AVERAGE CONDITION value of $16,500 and a CODE 1 condition at $27,500, so no sense denying that the car is valued VERY FAIR. I have no intention of discussing my "lowest price" until you are standing in front of the car. I have already turned down several offers in the $13-14K range.
I acquired the "WHITE DOVE" from the late Montana owners 20 years ago. Typical GM minor rust issues remain at the base of the front fender wells, since GM designers forgot to include weep holes for any moisture to dissipate front hose areas.. Also, there is spotting on the hood and trunk.
The rest of the car is SHOWROOM ! Interior SHOWROOM! Engine UNmolested.
We have placed in our garage for now, so it was protected from the winter rains.
Age dictates my lessening the pride of my barn.

The History of the 1966-1970 Chevrolet Caprice 2 Door FORMAL HARDTOP
First offered as a sport sedan option in 1965, the Caprice became its own luxury series in 1966, with a host of accessories.
This one DOES NOT not have headlight doors, power seat or windows. Similar to the Impala in four-door hardtop and six- and nine-passenger station wagons, the two-door hardtop had its own formal roofline.
The Caprice line was aimed at Ford's LTD, and 181,000 Caprices were sold in 1966, excluding station wagons.
Engines ranged from 283-cid, 327-cid, and 396-cid V-8s, with a 390-hp 427-cid option at the top.
This car has the 327CI "L-30" 275HP Factory version. HAGERTY ONLINE QUOTES: Current Values as of JUNE 2019
