Here’s a very nice example of this under-appreciated Thunderbird revival. This is a high-quality two-seater with two tops, taut handling, decent power and classic style. It’s now a huge amount of car for the money, particularly when priced to sell! This example is finished in Merlot, a one-year special color many claim to be the most attractive offered during the four-year run of this T-Bird generation. This is a well-maintained, one-driver car with no accidents, no mishaps, no stories. (“One driver” because Carfax shows three owners: Original lease company, the only driver when he purchased it at end of lease term, and his daughter who just transferred it into her name after the elderly owner passed away.) Only 73k miles! Fully optioned, which means heated seats and traction control since these were all so well equipped. No mechanical issues, and everything works, including the easy-to-use power top. Top-quality Goodyear Eagle GT tires with plenty of tread. What a perfect car for that fall cruise up the coast or through the back country, with tons of storage space behind the seats and in the large trunk. Again, this is a lot of car…Grab it now!
